Hailee Steinfeld

It is no secret that I am obsessed with Hailee Steinfeld, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I think I speak for a lot of people when I say she was one of the best dressed young starlets this year. There's something so fresh about her style, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. Hailee wowed as the star of Miu Miu's Fall 2011 campaign and has been praised for her sense of style. She also received a huge nod in the acting category when she was nominated for an Oscar for her role in True Grit. Hailee has some serious skills and a wonderful personality. I cannot wait to see her more this next year.

A Very Merry Christmas

| comments

I hope all of you had wonderful days yesterday. I know I did! Seventy degrees and not a cloud in the sky here in Southern California! After gifts were unveiled and a lovely brunch was served, we hung out poolside eating crackers and brie all afternoon. I know some people dream for white Christmases, but honestly, I love my sunny and bright Christmas!

Florence Welch

I've been a fan of the flame-haired singer since I first heard "Dog Days are Over" in 2008, so it's nice to see Florence + the Machine become so successful, especially given the fact that they possess true originality- a rare occurrence in the music business these days. But beyond Florence's vocal chords, this girl has true talent in the realm of style. Just like her music, Florence prefers an ethereal, gothic, fairytale-like feel. She wore Fall 2011 Gucci dresses on tour this summer and preformed during the Spring 2012 Chanel runway show this past October. Anyone who is in with Karl is most certainly an It Girl. With the success of the Machine's second album, Ceremonials, it's safe to say Florence and her crimson curls are here to stay.

Lily Collins

It seems fairy tales are the new thing in movies. With the success of last year's Tangled and Alice in Wonderland, movie studios are all over revamping classic fables and folktales. Most notably, two -that's right, two- different Snow White movies are premiering in 2012. One stars a warrior-princess-like Kristen Stewart (blah) but the other one features the lovely Lily Collins. Daughter of Genesis front man Phil Collins, Lily has certainly made a name for herself. She started out as a correspondent on Nickelodeon but where she really caught my eye was at the famed Crillon Ball where she wore the most lovely Chanel couture gown. Then she played the daughter in inspirational movie The Blind Side and the Taylor Lautner's love interest in Abduction and I knew Lily and her gorgeous eyebrows were here to stay.

Jennifer Lawrence

With the Harry Potter films over (sad) and the end of the Twilight films fast approaching (not sad) it is certainly time for a new book-turned-series to obsess about. Oh, wait. You mean they already planned that? Those Hollywood folks, so smart. But yes, in case you live under a rock, the latest sure-to-be smash trilogy of films, The Hunger Games is due out next March, and one of the hottest young starlets around, Jennifer Lawrence, stars as the protagonist Katniss. But this isn't Jennifer's first big movie. Last year she got an Oscar nod for her role in Winter's Bone, and this summer she played a young Mystique in X-Men: First Class. Jennifer's still very young and already very successful, and if The Hunger Games is nearly as big as the hype suggests, we will be seeing a lot more of Miss Lawrence.

How do you all plan to spend the holiday break?

Isn't it interesting that no matter how far is our distance, no matter how little we actually know someone, it doesn't change what we feel for that person, or how intensely we feel it. Seems terrifying, and at the same time, exhilarating.

Baby, let's take one step backward. Because we, won't be here again together for so long. I can't imagine spending a cold night in silence and wait, for something I don't even know. This is not fair, and will never be.
I have been MIA for 4 months. Eeeeek! School drove me crazy, and I'm not kidding. Have you ever felt like; you did your best, but the result came far from what you have expected before? I do, and there was a time when I hate myself for something I don't deserve. I didn't want to try because I'm sick of falling again. And again. That sucks, yes. Until I realized the existence of earthly suffering; no one could stand upon a wheel for too long. But anyway, at the end, it always comes round to the same place again.

Thank you for all the readers and subscribers, I do mean this. Thanks for keep supporting instead of leaving, I know it's weird but somehow, you guys who take a minute of your precious time to stop by always make my day! And oh-I bought this shirt for christmas (I love the ruffles details) but-ehm-I got the wrong size soooo ya let's make it just work xD Anyhoo, what's ur plan for Christmas? I sincerely wish you all the most precious moments for sure <3 xx

Chloe Moretz

It seems more and more teen actresses are skipping the Disney Channel shows and going straight for the serious acting gigs, and good for them! You have to wonder if you would like Hilary Duff or even Kristen Stewart if they had started off in more serious works. Fourteen-year-old Chloe Moretz here is one of a handful of young starlets who skipped all the teeny-bopper stuff in favor of the silver screen. Chloe first became known for the 2010 movie Kick-Ass, then as the vampire child in Let Me In, then as the sassy little sister in (500) Days of Summer. This winter Chloe stars as the granddaughter of a theatre owner in Hugo. Clearly this girl is going places. But her style is to be admired as well. Where most teens struggle to balance between childish and sexy, Chloe has found the perfect medium. She's cute but youthful, and that's something that I personally admire.
