Emma Watson

Emma Watson is a woman of many talents: for ten years she's dazzled the silver screen as brainy, frizzy-haired wizard Hermione Granger, she's a sophomore at Brown University, an Ivy League school, and she's managed to become one of the fashion world's favorite celebrities. For twenty, I'd say she's accomplished a lot. This summer will mark the end of the eight Harry Potter films, but I do hope that Emma continues to make movies or maybe just appearances. For a girl who's grown up with the Harry Potter books and movies, I'd say she's my biggest celebrity role model. She's gorgeous, she's smart, she's stylish; and more important than any of that, she seems to be pretty grounded for one of the highest-paid teenagers around. Really, I wish there were more Emma Watsons in the world.

The Girls of 2010: No. 3

Carey Mulligan

She gained momentum last year with her critically-acclaimed role in An Education, but 2010 was the real crunch time for Carey Mulligan. This year, Carey made appearances in two highly-anticipated movies: Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was a sequel to the popular 1987 movie where she starred along side Shia LaBeuouf and Michael Douglas; and Never Let Me Go, the movie adaptation of the famed novel. But what stunned us even more than her magnificent acting was her clothing. Carey never fails to appear poised and pretty. She really does have star style, something that most celebrities are disregarding nowadays.

Natalie Portman

She's everywhere right now, I feel like, what with her critically-acclaimed performance in Black Swan and her new gig with Dior. Natalie owned the red carpet this year with sweet and elegant frocks that channeled the costume of a beautiful ballet show, but still with a flirty attitude. We'll be seeing a lot more of Natalie this year in awards season, and I really hope she continues to wow us with her fantastic choices in clothes.

Lea Michele

With one of the hottest shows on television and a real talent for singing, Lea has certainly up-ed her red carpet game. Some may say she's a bit of a diva, but regardless, her red carpet looks have really impressed me. Her look is perfect for a hot young starlet; everything is fresh and sexy but fun and sweet too.

Leighton Meester

I may be biased, seeing as how Blair Waldorf is my absolute idol, but Leighton has really proved to be just as fashion-forward as her on-screen character this year. Some may claim that Leighton is trying too hard to compete with her effortlessly cool costar Blake Lively, but I think the two have completely different styles, both of which I enjoy very much. Leighton loves to take risks and I think they pay off. Which is a good thing, too; with her first major movie roll in Country Strong and campaigns for Vera Wang and Missoni coming this spring, she better get used to being in the spotlight.

Zoe Saldana

As one of the main characters in the most successful movie this year, Zoe Saldana has had one heck of a year. And with Avatar in the spotlight, the pressure was on for Zoe to woo us with some equally thrilling looks. But with her exotic looks and charming personality, Zoe has proved to be as stylish as the best of them. And let's face it: who else could have pulled off the Givenchy dress like her?

Emma Roberts

Let's hear it for a girl who knows how to act her age and behave under the spotlight. Emma's had a big year, with a spot in the star-studded Valentine's Day and a lead in It's Kind of a Funny Story, and although she may not be as popular as Miley Cyrus or Taylor Momsen, she definitely has those two girls beat on class and poise. Emma has emerged this year as a budding fashion icon as well, with stunning appearances throughout 2010. She can rock many youthful looks, but always looks put-together and never desperate.
