I used to be so embarrassed when one of my friends would wear this ugly Disney sweater in public. It was this awful grey color and had a picture of Pluto or something on it, and she would just wear it with jeans and it was just...ugh, so bad.

But now, with the holidays coming up and the need for some cozy sweaters, I'm seeing more and more of these seemingly tacky print sweaters -almost like your crazy aunt's ugly Christmas sweater- but these girls don't wear them just because they're warm and snuggly. They wear them to make some killer statements. When paired up with a mini skirt and some awesome booties, a dorky sweater becomes an ironic contradiction of childish and grown up looks.
